'Alloway 432' Exhibition Raises Over £1600 For Brain Cancer Research

We are delighted to announce that as a result of generous public donations, the 'Alloway 432' exhibition has raised over £1600 to support brain cancer research, the disease from which Ann Marie Gilmore died in 2006.

On 23 March the artist's brother and sister-in-law , Professor Bill Gilmore and Dr Patricia Shepherd, visited the Edinburgh Centre for Neuro-Oncology (ECNO) at Edinburgh’s Western General Hospital to hand over the money.

At the same time the family presented Gill, a Clinical Nurse Specialist at ECNO, with a framed self portrait of the artist to be displayed for the enjoyment of present and future patients and staff at the centre.
